DSA is excited to announce the addition of Nico Camero to its studio team. Camero brings a strong passion for sustainable, community-focused design and a collaborative spirit that aligns seamlessly with DSA’s commitment to creating impactful architectural solutions.
Camero holds a Master of Architecture from the University of Colorado Denver, where he was honored with the distinguished Lynx Lifetime Achievement Award. He also earned a Bachelor of Interdisciplinary Studies in Architectural History, Sociology, and Leadership Development from Louisiana State University. His academic background is complemented by practical experience in 3D fabrication and community-centered programs, including work with Bicycle Colorado’s Neighborhood Navigator initiative, reflecting his hands-on approach to sustainable urban design.
A leader within the professional community, Camero serves as the Florida Northwest Associate Director for the American Institute of Architects (AIA) and was named the 2025 Florida Northwest Associate of the Year. His design talent has been recognized in several notable competitions, including placing as a semifinalist in Disney Imaginations and as a finalist for the City of Pensacola Welcome Sign design.

An active volunteer and avid traveler, Camero looks forward to leveraging his design background and local engagement to contribute to DSA’s growing project portfolio across the region.
