Dean Dalrymple

  • Some Previous jobs Worked for several Engineering and Architecture firms in Pensacola; qualified to take the Architectural Registration Exam based on experience; Deckhand on Commercial fishing/shrimp boat; Pipe designer with Flour Construction; started a construction company in Washington D.C. at the age of 24.
  • Hidden talent I was the slap-bass player in a Rock-a-billy band, very amateur chef, and painter.
  • Lives with My beautiful wife Tami, Chloe the cat, and a few chickens.
  • Passionate about Coastal living and the family, friends, and food that comes with it.

Dean Dalrymple is a Nationally Certified Professional Building Designer and licensed architect in Colorado and Arizona who specializes in turning residential and commercial dreams into reality. His vast portfolio ranges from traditional Coastal residences to modern Mediterranean style waterfront villas, with high-end kitchen remodels, bath renovations and outdoor entertainment facilities in between. Dean has more than 20 years experience in architecture and engineering and his work has been featured in publications such as Coastal Living, the PNJ Home and Garden Magazine, and the Florida/Caribbean Architect Magazine. His attention to detail and ability to translate a client’s needs results not only in distinctive design, but also in long-term client relationships.

Prior to co-founding Dalrymple | Sallis Architecture, Dean was owner and principal designer of Dalrymple House Inc. for 7 years. He served as Chairman of the Zoning board of Adjustment for the City of Pensacola for 9 years, past President of the East Hill Neighborhood Association, and a member of Leadership Pensacola class of 2015

Scott Sallis

Scott Sallis is a licensed Florida and Alabama architect and community leader who specializes in the custom design of public and private buildings that continue to please owners and users.  He has two decades of experience designing and building residential and commercial structures throughout Northwest Florida and the Southeast.  Scott’s extensive knowledge in planning, conceptual and schematic design, and construction of buildings, has led him to successfully design and develop more than 300 projects.  His comprehensive portfolio includes high-end residences, commercial buildings, casinos, condos, churches, and many other structures dedicated to improving the living and working space of his clients.

Prior to co-founding Dalrymple | Sallis Architecture, Scott was principal architect and owner of Sallis Associates Inc. He enjoys contributing to projects that enhance the NW Florida Community and educating the next generation of budding architects.  As testament to his caring nature, Scott serves in many ways. He and his firm participate in Manna Food Banks CANstruction fundraiser each year.  He is a member of American Institute of ArchitectsDowntown Pensacola Rotary, Leadership Pensacola Class of 2009.  He was awarded Big Brother of the Year by Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northwest Florida, served for six years as the designated Architect of the City of Pensacola Planning Board. He has served on the Friends of the Saenger Board, as well as the Pensacola MESS Hall Board of Directors. Scott served as a longtime as member of Gulf Breeze United Methodist Church.  Scott and his family are now serving in the congregation of Echo Life Church Pensacola. Scott holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture from the University of Arkansas. Go Hogs!

Samantha Garrett

After a rewarding life in the Atlanta Metro area, Samantha was led to build a new life in the thriving small, Gulf front city of Pensacola.  She loves diversity of architecture styles as well as practicing both commercial and residential architecture.  A Dean’s list winner at the University of Arkansas, Samantha enjoyed leading others as a teaching assistant and was able to showcase her design talent as a finalist in multiple design competitions.  DSA is thrilled to have Samantha as a part of our client serving team. We’re confident she make us better.

Tami Dalrymple

Office Manager

Works closely with all members of the firm to keep the office running smoothly. She holds a BA in Marketing from UWF.
